H.O.P.E. funds numerous income generating projects throughout Egypt every year. These small projects “plant a seed” by creating jobs that generate income for people to provide for themselves and their families.
Through income generating projects, the Papal Office for Projects aims to improve the quality of life for people living in extreme poverty and help provide long-term sustainable income. The target is impoverished women, widows and youth in different villages in Alexandria and the Desert Area in Egypt.
The different types of small projects include:

- 🥘 cooking service
- 👔 clothing service
- 🛺 tuk- tuks
- 🛒 grocery kiosk
- 🧽 cleaning service
- 🧺 clothing materials
- 🧵 sewing machines
- 📑 printing service
- 🚗 delivery service
Each small project costs about $675. The goal is to cover 300 projects in 2024!
All these small projects help pull families out of the cycle of poverty and on to a different path with their own small business!
