There are more than 14 million people living in Egypt with some form of disability.
H.O.P.E. is partnering with BLESS (Bishopric of Public Ecumenical and Social Services) in order to provide medical equipment for our physically disabled and needy brethren.
The Rise Up & Walk Program aims to support and integrate adults and children with various disabilities of all ages into their society. The program aims to empower them to be independent, productive, interactive, and participatory members of society, who are equal to their peers by providing them with the following:
- 🦽 wheelchairs & walkers
- 🩼 hand, armpit & trio crutches
- 🥾 medical shoes & devices for children
- 🛴 motorbikes to rehabilitate adults into the labor market
- 🦾 prosthetic devices for adults
- 🦼chairs for children who suffer from cerebral palsy
- 👓 visual impairments units for adults
- 🎤 speech sessions for children
- 📚 early intervention & learning difficulties units for children
This program is need of $5,000 per quarter adding up to $20,000 per year. Share in the blessing of helping someone in need of one of these devices!
