There are two coptic churches in Namibia, one in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, and another in Ondangwa, a village in the North. Both churches are active with servants meetings, sunday school, vespers, liturgies, and vocational training such as sewing for women. Donations to this region will support:
1) Transportation – currently a bus picks up the servants and members of the congregation to bring them to the services and liturgies
2) Food for Sunday School classes
3) Food bags for low-income families that attend the church
For only $8, you can sponsor a child to attend Sunday school by providing him/her with transportation and a snack. Most children come from poor income families, these snacks fill the kids bellies and allow them to learn the Word of God!
Please consider the blessing of sponsoring a child in this developing community!
