In light of all the recent terrorism against the Coptic Church in our homeland, Pope
Tawadrous II has approved a Metal Detector Project that includes installing a metal
detector at the main entrance of every church in Egypt. The goal is to direct traffic
and require everyone to pass through a metal detector before entering the church.
Under the auspices of H.G. Bishop Youssef, H.O.P.E. has opened a fund to help collect
donations for churches in Egypt to start this project. May God bless this endeavor to
protect His children and to keep the safety of all His people.
