CATEGORY: Needy in Egypt

On April 9, 2017, two bombs went off at St. George’s Cathedral in Tanta and at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Alexandria, where Pope Tawadros II was praying Hosanna Sunday. This tragedy took the lives of 44 people and left more than a 100 injured. These attacks claimed by ISIS have constituted one of the deadliest days of violence against Christians in Egypt in decades. Under the auspices of H.G. Bishop Youssef, H.O.P.E. has opened a relief fund to assist the families of those martyred and to help those who were wounded by these horrendous acts. Pray that God comfort the families of the martyrs this Holy Week and for the safety of all His people
