Mission

mission statement

HOPE aims to support everyone in need with the spirit of the Good Samaritan. We will support Coptic Christians wherever they reside. Through the Grace of God, we strive always to provide hope for the helpless. Many new servants are joining our service and are striving to achieve new frontiers of service. We will continue to serve till we eliminate poverty and despair among Copts. We also make every effort to network the Copts in the western world to establish a strong support for our needy brethrens.



Another year for HOPE 2009

HOPE has witnessed the hand of the Lord in all the work and with every individual helped through HOPE during this year. The love and support of many compassionate hearts and kind donors had made the service expand in all directions and helped us even to start new services in new areas of great need. Our services in year 2009 are:


Helping an increasing number of needy families and disabled kids in Egypt.

Helping in arrangements for operations and treatment of different cases in different hospitals in the US.

Helped new comers in some churches with furniture.

Conducted a bone marrow drive to establish a good bank of Coptic Egyptian donors that might need bone marrow transplantation in the event of blood disorders.

Covered the cost of medication or operations to an increasing number of needy in Egypt.

Sent containers to Egypt full of cloth, medical supplies and clinic furniture.

Another container filled with cloth was directed to a church in Dallas.

New Services

Many new services were started in this blessed year 2009. These services included:

Interactive web site where sponsors can choose the particular case that they would like to support and sponsor.

Copts employment chances by posting resumes for job seekers which allowed Copts to hire Copts.

Started a new service for needy in Sudan where 111 Coptic students (23 university students and 88 elementary students) were sponsored to pay their tuition fees

New Projects

Major projects were sponsored by HOPE this year:

1. Providing funds through your generous support to trash collectors who lost their source of income with the slaughter of their swine. Many families were provided with an average of $700 to start a new mean of income generation.

2. HOPE is providing nearly 4000 children in three needy areas in Cairo with winter jackets to give them warmth and comfort during the harsh winter in Egypt.

Goals for 2010

For this year HOPE plans to:

Continue to increase the number of needy families helped through HOPE

Increase awareness of the new web site format and the ability of donors to select the particular need to which their donations can be directed

Help support medical needs of needy in Sudan

Expand our employment interactive web site to help more Copts to find jobs
